TriN8 club has started because people have passion for physical exercise and competition which are only two reasons among many. 

People who joined the club have experienced challenges from the beginning, but with perseverance and commitment they overcame those obstacles and became confident in their abilities ready to share their achievements with others.

TriN8 helped me achieve my goal

I have been with TriN8 since Sept 2021. The coaching and encouragement has been fantastic. This year I set my target time for the 1500m swim leg and working with the swim coaches was able to achieve it. A full 4 minutes faster than laster year and now a member of the sub-30minute club! I know I can be even faster and can’t wait to work with the team to get there!

Weekend training in Walton

I joined the wonderful TriN8 group for a weekend training with Mihai and loved it! I started training a year ago when I turned 60, and started from a low base of stamina and strength. Between the excellent technical drills and the incredible encouragement from the group, I have never felt fitter and healthier. The weekend was great fun! I discovered that when you feel exhausted and think you have nothing left, there’s a lot more in the tank – it felt fantastic to be challenged to do more and better. I love Mihai’s expressions like ‘don’t worry – do what you can, plus, what I tell you to do’.

What an amazing way to spend the weekend. Sessions included running drills, core exercises and open water swimming training. Catering to all levels of experience and abilities, Mihai kept a good balance between fitness and technical. The fun elements and good vibes built a cohesive group where each individual benefited from a tailored approach. What made it unique was performing swimming drills in the sea; learning to adapt to the waves, rip tides and cold North Sea hugely increased our confidence in competing in open water.

Have completed one session with Mihay, and already have learnt so much! Training for my next triathlon next year and my swimming is quite poor, so I’m looking forward to training with Mihay, his lessons are structured, interesting and fun. He also keeps pushing to get you to your best
